Materialise is pleased to announce their support of the Foundation Hubi & Vinciane, an organization which helps provide healthcare and education to the people of Benin. The foundation works very closely with 2 regional hospitals in Benin, as well as 4 primary schools and an agriculture project in the surrounding area. We invite the public to join our fundraising efforts by visiting the .MGX Flagship Store in Brussels and purchasing Christmas decorations this holiday season.
From November 24 until December 31, for every .MGX Christmas decoration sold at the .MGX Flagship Store in Brussels, .MGX by Materialise will donate 2€ to the Foundation. If you plan on visiting Brussels before the new year, we invite you to come by the store and join us in support of this worthy cause.
Materialise employees have already started internal fundraising efforts and so far, have raised 12,360€ and counting through bake sales and a ‘Run for Benin’. Not only will Materialise match the funds raised by its employees, company executives have already visited Benin in order to get a better grasp of the work being done there and to see what else the company can do in order to improve the quality of life for people living there.
Materialise’s commitment to the Foundation Hubi & Vinciane will be a long term project, so stay tuned for more fundraising activities and project updates in the months and years to come.
